Transitioning

I have been transitioning since January 1st. I dont believe that I will see that much growth in the first six months of me transitioning because I am changing my diet habits to more fruits, veggies and herbs so I have to wait on my body to heal inside so that it will show more on the outside with my hair, skin and nails.

I dont really have a plan of action, I am thinking about just getting the BIG chop next month and just getting that over with...BUT i dont want to traumatize myself. So I think I am going to take a page out of Kai's book and wear wigs for like 6 months and THEN get the big chop. I think I will get the big chop on my birthday! June 11, 2012. That way I wont be 'as' bald. I still wont perm my hair. I plan on deep conditioning every night and wrapping my hair with a scarf. I will wear braid and twist outs under a wig or a berat during the day. I am going to drink my water, eat healthier and take my vitamins while dc'ing every to every other day and making sure that i seal my ends and protect my hair with a silk wrap every day. I will be updating this post with the products and hair schedule that I will be usinng shortly.

The Perfect Cleanse UPDATED!

Ohhh kay...so im doing the perfect clease right.....
DAY 1 - I am feeling some sort of way because I didn't eat how I should have... while I didn't eat to horrible, I didn't eat healthy enough to go into this cleanse with a sense of me getting the most out of the product, I'll just have to step it up a bit to make sure that I dont squander this opportunity to gain more energy and and clear my breaking skin up!!!!

DAY 2 - I woke up with more gas than a car with a full tank.... it was horrible. When I went to the bathroom ( i know...tmi...but still I didn't have to push because it walked out on it's own ) Cleansing is good for you but NOT fun at all. It's actually disgusting..... Today I ate ok, but it could have been better. I did get in a 30 minute cardio take, a 20 minute ab tape and at 13 minute inner thigh insanity video from blogilates. So that made me feel better. My abs and legs hurt. I will have gotten in about 2.5 - 3 liters of water by the time I go to sleep. So that's great seeing how I barely was drinking a cup of water last week. But anyways.......on to day three.

DAY 3 - It is 2:59 and my stomach is still messed up! I woke up this morning running to the bathroom and I have been running to the bathroom all day. My stomach is still bubbling. I honestly dont know what is going on but I hope that it's not going to be like this tomorrow when I have to go back to work.

Ok....so, yeah.... it didn't stop.. it's 10:37 and although I've been drinking water all day I can't really tell because having to go to the bathroom every other hour is making me dehydrated. While it wasn't a bad day...it wasn't a good one either. It's Sunday so I didn't exercise, I gave my legs, abs and ass a day to recover from everything I did the day before. Tomorrow I will do both cardio and toning. I dont know if this clease is doing anything but I feel better... so i guess that's good enough.

Staying on track

There is no secret formula to stay motivated and to stay on track. You can set a goal and want to reach it so bad and NEVER reach it because you dont do what it takes to do so. one of the things that I am doing in 2012 to change this (as this IS the case with me) is putting together little reminders of my goals and leaving them in places that I will frequent daily. In my living room I have exercise equipment, I will watch the biggest loser ( for some reason whenever I watch that show, I feel renewed and ready to drop 100lbs. lol )I will put more exercise equipment in my bedroom, I will have more raw fruits and veggies and herbs in my kitchen than anything else and I WILL NOT deny myself. I choose to live and eat in a way that I can continue forever because I would hate to lose the weight and regain it.

I also want to put together my program. I will do that step by step and post updates on my blog as well.

Mostly Raw

So I am starting a mostly raw diet tomorrow. It will be hard but I feel like I need to do this. Here is my list.

The more and more I read on raw foods and the benefits the more I am starting to get excited about what I am doing. I know it will be hard which is why I am NOT switching totally to raw foods but instead I am including a lot of them in my diet right now. I will try this for a few weeks before doing anything else because I originally wanted to do a full body cleanse.

Jus Dew It




This upcoming week is themed 'jus dew it' because I have noticed that I make a lot of goals and dont meet them because I allow myself to stop sticking to what I say I will and/or wont do. I dont stick to the smallest goals that I set for myself so how can I stick to the big ones. I want to exercise daily (no restrictions) and journal on my blog or tumblr daily. That's all I am focusing on now, I will add more jus dew it goals in a week and a half after I have stuck to the few that I already have named.
