It's been a million, and i haven't blogged. So to catch you up. Today will officially be my last day of classes. My time is still taken because I am starting at the day care full time until I can find something else. I need more moolah. I am just glad that finals and paper writing season is over. egh. i hate the end of the semester because im always lagging behind. my fault, of course. What else.....oh, I noticed 'him' noticing me and I kept my distance. I am too interested. I'd hate to fall to fast. Let me ease my way into the emotionally unstable mind set that we call 'love'. um k?

Perfection’s Synonym (Letter to Poet)

The fluid of anticipation drenches my heart as I wait your arrival. As I must stress that your presence is the foundation of my survival. Such a morbid absence lingers around my shell when you leave. Sometimes I have to remind myself that you are merely of flesh, because my heart deceives. My mind into thinking that I have possibly captured an angel. That somehow or someway the universe is going to take this love and untangle. The coils of everything we’ve built though love, trust and commitment. The challenge is purposeless; my internal pulse shows no resentment. Mental rejection is phantom, there’s strength in weakness and you taught me that. So believe that no matter where you go in this world, it’s my heart where your home is at.

You’ve overcome many impediments and I bow to you my obsession of poetic desire. Don’t falter the physical because every spark of you, in me ignites a fire. I yearn for that unreformed simplicity in your tone. I covet that presence of yours that moves my shell to the bone. I plead to be your soul's vitamin; so you are required to take me everyday. No need to dominate because I’ll willingly submit to you in every way. I’m giving you the sole invitation to compress the covers of my love, and give me you. There’s no possible situation in this world we can’t walk as equals through. Mr. Intentional you are, let’s continue to swim in the tempting pools in each others eyes. No more hurt, we will harmoniously laugh at the pain that uses temptation as a disguise.

The world isn’t ready for our association, a true fairytale, something so divine and real. Nothing can break us but God, our connection alone summons existence to be still. I hope that our truth isn’t privy from the inspection of your eyes through false vernacular. False tongues are to be expected while we possess true love, something rare and so spectacular. In years to come our legend will season the lives of the bland with invisible clout. As listening to our stories and seeing our pictures shows them what real love is all about. I will hold on to you, because happiness is hard to keep and real love is hard to find. And I plan on loving you Poet, like Maya said, in and out of time.

Personal Update

Boys: Well. There are a few but I need some reciepts to take a few of them back and choose again. I think that I am picky when it comes to the men that i surround myself with but I dont see anything wrong with being selfish with my time and space. I think that's smarter than allowing any ole' joe smoe to fill my space. I actually think my nit picking is due to the fear of falling in love with a man-child. I dont want to raise my man. I dont want to go through unnecessary drama. I dont expect a perfect relationship but I do expect a man who can hold his own with or without me. Money: I swear it never fails. When a little money comes in, bills follow right in behind it making it go right back out. I am still not in the hole, but close enough so that I am penny pinching to make sure that I can stay as comfortable as possible with my bills being on time and paid in full.
School: Well, I didn't study like I needed to so last week didn't end so well....academic wise but this week I am determined to get back on track. You get out what you put in. I didn't study for an A....so that's not what I got. smacks self...

this week I am down 7lbs. Great! I have been exercising all week for about an hour and 30 minutes. I have also been jogging in place while listening to music. It works if you have music that you really want to listen too. What songs are on replay for me???

Green Smoothie: SOP

For my first green smoothie I used organic baby spinach that I found at walmart. I used canned not fresh pineapples because I didnt want to look for the fresh kind in the store. IT was way too many ppl in there. So I used a small can about 8 ounces and I used 2 cups of OJ. I used my new elite blender to blend it and it came out to anywhere between 24-36 ounces. It made a lot and I was surprised by that. It did take me like at least...um, five minutes to sip it. I mean spinach, pineapples and oj...... doesn't sound good but it actually was ok. I could have over done it on the oj I dont know but that and a nice small salad would have satisfied me. I am excited because I have a whole bundle of banana's and I want to go get some kale to try it with. This green smoothie thing may just be for me after all. Recipe and pics below.

Two handfuls of baby spinach (rinse)
1 cup of pineapples (drained or not your choice)
1.5 cups of orange juice
*blend well 2min minimum*


Side note, I'm going to make another batch before i go to bed and put it in two bottles freeze one and put the other one in the fridge. That way I can sip the one that isn't frozen for breakfast and by the time the other one thaws out sip it if i get hungry in between meals tomorrow. That's the plan....now lets see how well it works.

Make Your Own Green Smoothie Recipe

The best green smoothie recipe is the one you make yourself.It's very easy and the options are endless. Just have a ration of about 50% fruits and 50% vegetables (or try some wild greens such as nettles) and your smoothie will always be delicious. If not sweet enough, add some liquid. You'll hardly taste the vegetables. (Read How To Make Smoothies for more info.)
Ingredients

1 bunch green leafy vegetable of choice (50% of total)
Fruit of choice (50% of total)
1-2 Bananas or 1 avocado to emulsify (make creamy)
ginger, lemon, parsley or, stevia to taste
Directions

1.

Put all ingredients in your blender.
2.

Add clean water to cover all ingredients.
3.

Blend.
4.

Drink immediately.

Sooo, I'm thinking about starting a cleanse. But not for weight loss... for clarity...I keep reading about how people would go on a cleanse and come out of it successfully with more clarity on everything, better habits and another side effect good one at that is some weight loss. I figure that it will help me balance my emotions and help my eating habits. I also figure that since now i have so much work to do to finish out the rest of my classes, it would be the perfect time to start now so that any other side effects that I endure can be ignored by writing an essay, studying or completing other assignments. I wanted to do a fruit and vegtable all natural clease for 5-7 days. If the side effects aren't that bad I will go longer. However, if they are I wont because I dont want the backlash. This is one of the cleanses from ehow.com that I came across although I'm not going to be following it.

A simple colon cleanse is a water fast. This can be too much for beginners, as the psychological and physical effects of not eating for several days can be difficult to handle. But a water fast can promote colon cleansing with no need to buy special ingredients. Water fasts are exactly what they sound like: going for a certain number of days consuming nothing but pure water.

Juice and fruit fasting will also cause a cleansing of the colon. In juice fasting, you consume only the juice of fresh (preferably organic) fruits for a certain amount of time, generally one or two weeks to thirty days. Fruit fasting is a similar diet. Those on a fruit fast eat only fresh fruits for ten days to two weeks, or longer.

The soup is made with 2 to 3 cucumbers (peeled), 1 or 2 avocados, 1/2 of a yellow onion, the juice of half a lemon, 3 cloves of roasted garlic, 2 cups of vegetable stock, 1 tbsp. of cilantro, 1 tbsp. of parsley and 1 seeded jalapeno pepper. All of the ingredients are blended together and consumed without heating.
Full Body Cleansing
If you prefer to not focus on one part of your body at a time, you can perform a full-body cleanse. Green smoothies can be used as a full-body cleanse. Just blend dark, leafy greens such as spinach or kale with water or juice and a complimentary choice of fruit together, then drink. One easy recipe for green smoothies is 2 cups of fresh spinach, 2 seeded peaches, and one cup of orange juice.

The master cleanse is also used as a full-body detoxifier. The master cleanse generally consists of drinking nothing but a lemonade made of 10 oz. of water, 2 tbsp. of freshly-squeezed lemon juice, 2 pinches of cayenne pepper, and 2 tbsp. of maple syrup for three to fourteen days. It is also recommended by MasterCleanse.Org that you either begin or end the day with a saltwater flush, consuming 2 tbsp. of sea salt dissolved into 32 oz. of water.
